I've always been fascinated by airports. Doha Airport is no exception. All these people meeting, if only for a moment, a quick glance, then on with their own lives and still, that person is now a part of my life forever. (There is a script htere somewhere) In a few hours I'll be home. I can feel the distant call of..the Maldives.
All journeys, short as well as long ones, start when you leave your house. A wise hobbit (Bilbo) once said "you better be careful. Once you step outside on the road you never know where it's going to take you" - or something like that.
Soon I'll be barefoot for 2 weeks. That alone is worth the trip.
