Can you spell "FIVE STARS"? Calm, relaxing, wellness and as safe and comforting as a mothers embrace. Superb service by wonderful people. The jewel of the crown for competent Universal Resorts. World Class - in any world.
Baros is so lush with greenery that I actually have trouble navigating my way to my room on an island that is a mere 400 x 300 meters. Below my wooden deck I have my own rattan hammock. Just like the postcard now. Tomorrow I'll try "Daybreak Yoga" on a huge deck outside with the aquamarine ocean shimmering beside me. A moment ago I snorkeled on a house reef as five stars as the rest of Baros. The resident marine bilogist Holly, from Leeds, has invited me to "Shark Course" tomorrow afternoon. I would love to go. If Velassaru is the younger cute sister in zesty turqoise and orange, Baros is the serene mother who embraces you and lets you rest on cool bedlinen among ochras and burnt orange textiles of the highest quality. My pulse has not been over 40 since I stepped on the jetty. Well maybe just for a minute when I spotted the shark on the house reef.
