Island Hideaway - Natural space

My Villas is 550 square meters and the ceiling is almost 4 meters above me. Dhonakulhi is all abot space. Oceans of space. Island motto: The answer is yes, what is the question?

Looking for a civilised version of Robinson? You'll no doubt find it on Dhonakulhi Island Hideaway, less than an hour domestic flight from Male. It might seem inconvenient to board another flight after just having gotten through 10 hours or more from Europe, but no sweat, it's worth the effort. And the flight with Maldivian is comfortable and quick. The stars shine very brightly here, far away from even from Male. The island has been left more or less untouched with luscious greenery and a djungle interior. Deserted beaches for strolling. Alone in the world? Well, there is always my own "man Friday" or Thakuru in divehi, to fulfill my every wish. Genuinly kind and caring, he snorkles with me, serves me at every meal, takes care of my laundry and generally spoils me rotten. So easy to get used to. Supernice, openhearted Janine, with heaps of experience from the Hilton inWashington DC and resorts like her last job on Turks & Caicos in the Caribean, is generous with her time and has dinner with me in Gaafushi, an intimate little restaurant on stilts in the water, while patiently answereing all my questions. Francis brings out an excellent Sauvignon Blanc to go with some hot indian chicken. Everything is surreal, beautiful and in good taste. In my bath room, around 150 square meters, there is even a little yellow rubber duck in the huge bathtub. On my pillow a tiny teddy if I miss home too much (yeah right!). Oh, and if I should not approve of my desiganetd pillow there is a "Pillow Menu".

About1,4 km long and 500 meters wide, there are still only 45 villas here. Mine, a Dhonakulhi Residence, is called Vashafaru. There is a sign down by the gate and a blue bike if I want to get aorund by myself. A place to be yourself and let your soul catch up with your body. And the answer to all your questions is really;Yes!
